During the 20 years I've served on the CUSD Board of Trustees, I have had the honor of serving with 4 Superintendents and 12 Board members...and I've learned from each one of them. We have a profound impact on our community, because every student who has attended our schools is affected by the actions taken by the Board. In addition to our academic achievements, our highly regarded music, drama, broadcasting, speech & debate, dance, and athletic programs continue to enrich the lives of our students. During my time on the Board, our facilities have been upgraded and new schools built on time and under budget. I am particularly proud of the addition of Sage Creek High School, which gives our students the opportunity to choose between two distinct, excellent learning environments.
